Position Summary:

Crisis Services Therapists provide direct client assessment regarding behavioral health crisis intervention.  This includes face to face, over the phone, at Polara Health and in the community assessments.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides mobile crisis services to community settings when a behavioral health crisis event requires assessment and determination of next steps.
  • Works internally with clinical teams surrounding crisis interventions, planning and trouble shooting.
  • Provides outreach and engagement to clients enrolled with Polara Health as needed and as time allows.
  • Provides individual therapy services and group therapy services as allowed by credentialing.
  • Makes independent judgments surrounding behavioral crisis planning and client safety if admission to an acute psychiatric stabilization unit is not warranted.
  • Works closely with local community partners and forges close relationships to ensure on-going collaboration and coordination of care surrounding behavioral health crisis situations.
  • Makes eligibility decisions regarding access to services within agency guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • 3-5 Years clinical experience
  • Independently licensed by the State of Arizona in a behavioral health discipline preferred 
  • Background Check/Fingerprinting required
