The Crisis Navigator manages the front desk services at the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) and is an integral part of our crisis continuum of care. The Recreation Therapist, working under the supervision of the Site Manager, completes recreational therapy and activities which meet the physical, mental and psychosocial needs and interests of patients at Windhaven Psychiatric Hospital. The Recreation Therapist works with patients using leisure, yoga and exercise groups, art, dance/movement, music, and other activities as interventions to enhance the patient’s mental health, recovery and well-being such that the individual’s functioning is remediated and/or restored.

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and oversight of services for inpatient nursing staff at Crisis Stabilization Unit and Windhaven Psychiatric Hospital. Includes collaboration and coordination of care with inpatient clinical teams and other department disciplines. Maintains relationships with outside agencies. Ensures that supervision occurs. Coordinates inpatient policies and procedures with the Inpatient Operations Manager, Director of Nursing, Director of Inpatient Services and Medical Director.

The Internal Auditor will work under the supervision of the Chief Quality Officer to ensure Polara Health provides high quality integrated care services in a professional manner which aligns with all federal, state and local regulatory guidelines. The Internal Auditor plays a role in meeting annual quality management improvement plan goals. The Internal Auditor will act as a source of validity, legality and goal achievement with direct care staff as needed.

Position requires the application of knowledge of training programs and occupational information in relation to vocational rehabilitation problems of the physically or mentally disabled, or of other individuals whose background or lack of job skills impairs their employability. The position involves planning training programs for these individuals; placing them in gainful employment; and supervising them while in training and during adjustment to the job. The duties require knowledge of vocational training concepts and practices; of the employment market; of training facilities; and of skill demands and environmental conditions in occupations and in specific jobs in relation to their suitability for the training and employment of the persons served by the rehabilitation program. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will provide intensive treatment for children and adolescents, all of which have an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The majority of the services involve providing Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention for young children, but can also involve conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention Plans. The Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is responsible for supporting the strategic plan, managing clinical decision making, and ensuring the quality of medical outcomes. The Nurse Practitioner will manage a caseload, outpatient, that may include severely mentally ill adults, general mental health patients, and substance abuse patients.
